In the Cottolengo Vocational Rehabilitation Center, young people with disabilities can participate in various activities such as yoga, basic and digital literacy lessons, but also embroidery, music and social farming. There is an entire training team following them: psychologists, educators, social workers and vocational instructors.

The aim is to help these kids complete a path of global growth . Precisely for this reason the center offers diversified solutions that take into account the needs and specific characteristics of each individual.

The Cottolenghini missionaries also take care of people who are homeless or in difficult situations through a canteen service offered in the government hospital of Paravur. And they help mothers with after-school activities and children’s clubs.

They also created Madres Self Help group, an organization of mothers of disabled children who work for the rights of disabled people. At the moment there are 28 mothers involved and 11 of them carry out economic activities in favor of disabled people: they use a micro financing system and carry out fundraising activities.
